Tailored and flexible delivery
We customise our training and delivery to meet the needs of both organisations and individual learners. Our flexible and personalised approach ensures that we can support you, as we offer a combination of face to face delivery, with remote support via our e-portfolio system, email, telephone, Skype, video and audio recording. There is an emphasis on self-directed study and learners can instantly access their portfolio and support materials at times that suit them.
As part of our quality assurance processes we gather feedback from learners, employers and the awarding body, OCR. Feedback has been excellent with many of our learners returning to progress on to higher level qualifications:
'My assessor was extremely supportive and helpful throughout. She explained thoroughly the expectations of each unit and provided excellent feedback always providing suggestions to further meet the evidence criteria.’
Hull College, Level 4 Advice and Guidance.
'I have recently completed a NOCN level 2 course in Developing Information, Advice and Guidance and wanted to tell you how impressed I have been with all of your team, especially with Alison my tutor. Our purchasing process requires three quotes and your team gave me all the information I needed to make [an] easy choice. Surprisingly, this was not the case with all providers offering this course, very ironic given the subject! The booking process was swift and easy and your team even offered to walk me to the venue when I turned up at the wrong building on my first day (an object lesson for me in reading the instructions fully!!) I thoroughly enjoyed every week of the course, the way in which it was logically structured and how it followed a systematic route through the subject. I particularly liked how the theory was linked to my own experiences and the reflective diary about my own organisation has been extremely helpful in progressing IAG as a benefit we offer. Alison’s tutoring was excellent - patient, thorough and supportive at all times and consistently engaging. Her feedback was constructive and objective and much appreciated. Please pass on my sincere thanks to everyone in your team.
Peter Amphlett, Royal College of Midwives.

‘The workshops provided throughout the qualification were very useful and informative not only for the purpose of completing the units but also for improving my knowledge to help me with my work as an adviser.’
‘My assessor was very supportive and helpful throughout. She was always clear and precise with regards to the evidence needed for each unit and the feedback given was constructive and clear.’

'My experience of it [IAG training] is very good. I would opt for there - flexible and good value. I can only speak positively about the whole experience as both a manager of a learner and as a learner'.
Christina Simpkin, Training Manager, Paddock Community Trust. Level 4 Advice and Guidance. Her staff have done the Level 3 Advice and Guidance.
‘Thanks for all the help and support from [all the training staff] in general and in particular my assessor, whose been an absolute star in helping [me] to get through.’

'Can I take this opportunity to thank you personally for being understanding and supportive with our situation. Its not often I have had the pleasure of working with people who have gone to such lengths to offer genuine support and encouragement - it is very much appreciated and I really couldn't have completed this course without that and your help, persistence and patience!!! I think that gaining this diploma has given me a confidence boost this week and will hopefully enable me to secure future employment.'
